Mick Mulvaney told Ryan Lizza of the New Yorker, "We had twenty names, and all of them were terrible. The founding members who constituted the first board of directors for the new caucus were Republican representatives Scott Garrett of New Jersey, Jim Jordan of Ohio, John Fleming of Louisiana, Matt Salmon of Arizona, Justin Amash of Michigan, Raúl Labrador of Idaho, Mulvaney of South Carolina, Ron DeSantis of Florida and Mark Meadows of North Carolina. Nine conservative Republican members of the House began planning a new congressional caucus separate from the Republican Study Committee and apart from the House Republican Conference. According to founding member Mick Mulvaney, "that was the first time we got together and decided we were a group, and not just a bunch of pissed-off guys". The caucus originated during the mid-January 2015 Republican congressional retreat in Hershey, Pennsylvania. The caucus supports House candidates through its PAC, the House Freedom Fund. The caucus has included some members who are libertarians. Later, the Freedom Caucus shifted its emphasis to loyalty to Donald Trump and became what Politico described as "more populist and nationalist, but less bound by policy principles". Established as an ultra-conservative alternative to the Republican Study Committee, the group initially emphasized fiscal conservatism and concerns about House rules, favoring budget cuts and a decentralization of power within the House of Representatives. The group sought dozens of times to repeal the Affordable Care Act. The group takes hardline conservative positions and favors social conservativism and small government. The caucus is positioned right-wing to far-right on the political spectrum, with some members holding right-wing populist beliefs, such as opposition to illegal immigration. Its first chairperson, Jim Jordan, described the caucus as a "smaller, more cohesive, more agile and more active" group of conservative representatives. The caucus was formed in January 2015 by a group of conservatives and Tea Party movement members, with the aim of pushing the Republican leadership to the right. It is generally considered to be the most conservative and farthest-right bloc within the House Republican Conference. Care Coordinators do not call back and or stay employed there long enough to get back to you, and If you do get a call back or correspondence when they do they still don’t have any clear answers. For a company with so much potential to be ruined by a lack of quality care this is a sad travesty. One star is too much. The Freedom Caucus, also known as the House Freedom Caucus, is a congressional caucus consisting of Republican members of the United States House of Representatives. I do not recommend this company my mother is the only reason I use it,other than that there is no reason I will ever recommend this company. Now to be fair they are really kind and informative when you do get them, but unfortunately that’s not the norm. This company has absolutely TERRIBLE customer service from day one.Their care coordinators are disorganized to the highest degree, and it’s sad cause the concept of the company i feel is a good one,but their personnel team has a huge flaws, and even if you get a competent kind employee to deal with you it’s 1 out of 10. I NEVER post bad reviews I feel every company or entrepreneur deserves room for mistakes so if I’m posting this is SERIOUS. I will not answer until my issues are rectified. Please don’t respond to me or contact me. It’s like we’re being silenced by being ignored. What kind of company does this? As an employee, I (as well as others) have the right to report issues to a higher department if we feel it’s not being taken care of by supervisors. (Which is pointless because no one calls) I’m an employee who can’t contact a supervisor or Human Resources. No one wants to respond, until you call in and make a complaint. I’m a current employee and after a few months, I see the truth. To some it up, your tactic failed and you need to be retrained. To ignore our issues and try to discredit us publicly, by being dishonest, only fans the flames of our problems more. Like any employee, their will be issues with the company you’re employed with. Your dishonest response is partially whats wrong with staff at this company. No company is perfect, but at least be honest. Caution folks, when you see a company that has their Public Relations Team doing damage control by being dishonest on reviews .you be the judge. I can easily add my paystub showing my name & todays date. If this is your best resolution attempt at trying to make me look bad, you shouldn’t of responded. They are trying to make readers believe I don’t work for the company and I’m lying. To try to save face, they are trying to discredit my statement. **UPDATE** As anyone can see, they responded.
